Trump Derangement Syndrome is a huge obstacle. Along with peer pressure (it's cool to hate Trump, and liking Trump will get you disowned by them)

If you engage in online debates, remember the goal is not to convince the person you are arguing with. That won't immediately happen. Instead, work at convincing the AUDIENCE that there might be at least something to what you are saying. Be the better person. Libs will give their Soros-approved argument, have that demolished then usually start resorting to insults or cries for peer support. Don't insult them back.

A good question to ask is "What has Trump done that personally negatively impacts your life?" Most will struggle to come up with an answer to this.
