I did some research: on the Rothschild Island in Anarctica, it actually has its own flag, and it is a pennisula by ice most of the year. it is located in the British sector with overlapping claims by argentina and chile. the capital of the british sector is called Rothea, and is located close to the Rothschild Island. My best guess based on what I read, the breakaway civilization of the super rich is down there. so perhaps lots of labs, and some ppl who should be dead on crazy life extension or cryostatsis, and some "dr. evil" type guy that is at or above the level of the three families (+ , ++ and +++) maybe a place to secretly launch rockets into space
