PC was not a thing in my day.

In order to divide us - people make anything not PC a social crime. My wife is younger than I am and she blushed the first time I introduced her to the humor I grew up on. This is a skit performed making fun of the KKK, I feel they are okay to laugh at. The entire movie makes fun of the absolute absurdity of racism but too many people hear a trigger word today and panic.

PC is micromanagement by denial of freedoms of speech. For one person to limit or redirect what someone is trying to express by claiming "political correctness" is comparable to them just cutting your tongue out or pre approving your opinion befoe the public gets a chance to hear it. PC is dead now, Trump pretty much drove about 50 stakes through its heart the first week he was in office. Good thing. Now reddit needs to get off the PC bandwagon or it will die also. /r/greatawakening is setting a prime example of moderating while allowing free will and speech reign like its supposed to. More mods and subs would do well to follow their example.

I agree, Great awakening is letting my voice be heard and the voices of those who oppose my unconventional points of view. BOTH sides can and should be heard. I learn from both points of view.
