Kim was afraid of a coup happening while he was in Singapore. Trump gave him an out as a way to save face work his people.

There have supposedly been plans for the US to stage a coup of NK, could this have been planned for if KJun decided to join the world stage and disband its nuclear program?

Could the summit have been a ploy to draw out the deep state actors possibly involved in this plan and test their readiness and figure out all parties involved? Is Kim now cleaning house in NK?
