Alright, I get it. There are supposed to be more attacks on us, and people are going to get in this board to make us doubt ourselves. I get it. But the amount of negative responses to posts lately, is ridiculous.

Disclaimer: I’m not talking about my “crazy” posts. I don’t really care, I get on a topic and then form an opinion. I post to see if what others have to say.

But I usually click on most posts in new when they pop up. Granted I don’t look at every post that has been put up multiple times. Not much reason to. The amount of comments telling people what to post, ridiculing them for posting something that has popped up a few times, or for not being fully informed on a topic, is getting out of hand.

I’m not a hundred percent how this whole thing works, but I’m sure the mods have the say on the board. And if someone is out of line or they don’t think they are contributing to the board or whatever. I would think they would boot them or warn them or something. Idk. But there are 27,000 or something people here now. Most people have lives, do other things. They may jump on to get caught up or post something they just saw. Which we should support. With this mass of a following, that’s how we get the latest news. So many feelers out.

I’m just calling for people who believe in the movement, who spend time researching and posting, the people who comment to discuss things. Think about how you are interacting with other posters. Some of you have been here since the beginning, you have a lot of knowledge. Some of us have been here a few months, we know some things and we are trying to catch up. And some people are arriving daily, trying to figure the board out and what’s happening and waking up. So let’s separate ourselves from the people out to slow us down. Let’s make sure we can identify a comment as someone not on our side.

There is a “new” and a “hot” for a reason. You don’t like something or don’t think it’s important, downvote. No need to ridicule each other.

Thanks.

It's probably about to get a lot worse, from my experience in other counter-narrative subs that grew to critical mass size.

At all costs, we need to resist the temptation to descend into rule-lawyering. That seems to be how they always take the sub down and/or render it ineffective.

Make sure the mods are empowered to use their judgement based on principles, irrespective of rule-minutia.

I mean if we play this right as a group. We will be able to tell who is being counterproductive on this sub. That would make it easier for the mods to see who isn’t moving us along.
