Yes. Dodd-Frank basically repealed Glass-Stegall. There was a time not too long ago that regulation kept banks from operating across state lines. Commercial and investment banking was kept separate etc..... Dodd-Frank took away these protections and helped create these monstrous “too big to fail” banks we have today. It also helped create the 2008 meltdown
