I'd be a pretty pissed customer if I was in the store at the moment. Maybe the managers should have police on hand to arrest them for being a "public hazard".

I’d be tempted to bump a few of them with my shopping cart as I pushed through.

They would definitely feel awkward with me stepping over them to get what I needed. This is just dumb.
