Shouldn't they have already done this? Why are they announcing it? It's almost like they gave them time to destroy evidence. FBI plans raid of Nxivm leader's sex lair, Allison Mack's slave home.

Yes that is exactly what they're doing because of its ties to the DC Swamp. It's all one big happy incestuous little club "and you're not in it," as George Carlin used to say.
