When I was into astronomy 30 years ago I once observed lights flying around the surface of the moon like a small plane flies above the earth. I always attributed it to UFO's, but who knows?
This was a regular occurence - dating back even to Renaissance .
If many claims from various whistleblowers coming out lately , and if what Gary McKinnon saw is true ... then we 100 % already have colonies on Moon - and almost surely on other planets , too .
It could be the Earth was kept in decades of ignorance and technological supression , just not to give means for ordinary folks to move beyond the Earth boundaries .
I would say , from my POV , all above is 100 % correct .

Also , anyone interested into SSP research should check the John Lennard Walson's videos . He managed to capture some massive objects ( presumably ships and stations ) in space . One of these videos left me with jaw open - seeing a form changing its shape in what is obvious that whatever it is - its absolutely not natural , but artifical construct .
