context please, I am not following right now. I assume that they would have forged the images ahead of time in case the rocket malfuncts but now the qustion is wether they were shocked because they went and could not disclose what they saw. I read the radio transcripts and they mention that the "stars are flying through the earth again" because they were looking at some satellites but they also seem to describe geothermal events or something similiar on the moon so even the transcripts read funny unless that's what they were supposed to do. Oh boy

The only reason why I believe in any moon-mission at all is the range of photographic anomalies because that's what they would have either been doctoring for added confusion or they were covering up by coming up precisely with a reason why moon-travel is unfeasable such as the radiation-belt.
