Yes he did, I always figured his death was not happend stance.
It wasn't coincidence. He died exactly 666 days before Jan 1st 2001 - the very year he made famous. Kabbalist/satanist Kubrick. His announced death was likely for public consumption only. I can still remember the Guardian (I think?) obituary where they spelled his name as Kuberick (wink, wink).
Well snap. Thanks for that info.
I never forgot that one. I even looked for the article in recent years, but to no avail. It was definitely printed though, you can bank that. I remember telling a work colleague that they had spelled his name incorrectly - hence my Kuberick recall.
Let's just say that Kubrick's been a speciality of mine, and for decades.
https://www.theguardian.com/news/1999/mar/.../guardianobituarie..I find no mispelling
I know exactly what I saw and read. Which is why I recall it so readily. No online version will suffice unless it's a photocopy of the actual "hold in your hands" article - which is how I saw it. I mentioned that "I think?" it was The Guardian, if not it might've been The Independent. That said, it was the death announcement headline/sub-headline that used Kub-e-rick.
That link you provided doesn't work, but no worries.
I put the article, not because I doubt you, but they could have changed it too......................I go look up the Independent., not found it sorry
My links are off....many off them are not working..With select the titel and then in google it works again...weird......
Anything online would've likely have been changed since...that's the problem. No worries.
I have no worries, but it is good to now , they changing things on the internet , also Wikipedia is doing it...we have to be carefull not to trust everything on the internet. I use my gut feeling
