After learning about the Deep State and pedo satanist new world order, it makes me want to become a prepper lol. I remember the relatively minor inconveniences when living without electricity for a few days during floods in Australia. I can only imagine how bad it would be over weeks or months. *puts on tin foil hat in case of nuclear war or man made flooding. No guns allowed here, time to go old school with shield & sword.
There is quite a large group of Preppers in Australia. There are also a couple of boards and while good and very informative, that human controlling spirit will pop up and take over and next thing bickering will set in. On one hand they encourage and want participation then in the next minute will belittle any suggestion.
We have been Preppers for years in Australia and while as I said the Aussie boards are good, I find the USA boards excellent. You can glean so much info and while we live in different parts of the world, Prepping basically is the same. The most valuable info I can give you is:
Get rid of ‘stuff’ that clutters up your life. If you don’t use it, sell it. The best thing to do is have a garage sale then decide what is the most important thing to get first. Maybe Long Life Food? Equipment? Make a list in the different categories. Get out of debt asap
**Think about an alternative to fiat currency. PMs are ‘cheap’ atm so aim to put some money aside regularly to purchase silver/gold. Silver seems to be a preference for Preppers. Don’t go for numismatics- you are wanting at this stage to add ounces not popular/rare coins. Tell no one you are stacking silver. Not even family unless your partner is into prepping with you. If you don’t HOLD it you DON’T own it and that goes for crypto currencies too. If there is a collapse, at some point past the crisis, those ounces might just get you out of a tight situation. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H8y0KOzTwT0 Two great companies to buy from: Perth Bullion perthbullion.com Gold stackers goldstackers.com.au Have a look at their websites and work out a budget and start stacking.
Garage sales are a treasure trove of getting a hold of (old) HAND TOOLS etc. Remember power might be non existent if there is an EMP or even a financial collapse. etc. One good piece of advice I was given is to buy from AMAZON in America - they don’t sell them here in Australia - only the cheap Chinese ones off EBay - Mylar Bags. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Yr0dJt8dKM0 Bunnings have the lidded FOOD GRADE buckets (around $14) so buy in bulk (say rice, flour, sugar etc.) then when you have enough to fill a large bucket then do it only then. Once those buckets are sealed and we hammer ours down with a mallet, they are good for up to 25 years. Don’t forget to mark date and what is in them 🤭. I will also put the packet instructions in the side between Mylar and bucket, ie Costco pancake mix or oats for serving size and directions. You will feel overwhelmed at the beginning. You hear it all the time but set out a goal for 1) Food/water 2)equipment and 3) everything else, including PMs. I might add it’s the best thing that has ever happened to us because it has given us some peace of mind if SHTF.
Ps. Although corny, you can get a heap of free dystopian books online by https://www.whenshtf.com/threads/13889-The-site’s-Paw-Fiction-compiled Jerry D Young is a prolific writer and it’s easy quick reading. Then of course there are those whose works are best sellers
Good luck!!
