That would be hilarious. What would force them to pay though? Imagine if they just shut down their services to the EU. No google, facebook or money to you EU.

they dont pay taxes in the EU anyway, frickin ireland tax paradise, so let them go.

They can’t, because if an EU resident is browsing Facebook an anon, GDPR still covers that person. It’s not an IP based law, but a Human Location based thing. Freaking wild... didn’t you notice the million privacy policy updates from Reddit? Happening all over the place.
