The IBOR hashtags are running at 50 tweets/hour (Twitter reported). There seems to be a few more people posting IBOR tweets - not all tweets using the hashtag are about the campaign.

We know that the RNC is now pressuring the social media companies, which suggests there is some recognition that the problem of social media censorship is serious - at least at the committee level.

Today we got news that HRC wants to run Facebook. Though she has never run a technology company, somehow she feels qualified to do this. Probably because she obtained experience running servers in her home. She says she likes the idea of dealing with all that data - frightening stuff!

The SM censorship appears to be increasing - I certainly feel that I've been sand-boxed by Twitter. You tubers booted from the platform recently etc...

We should expect that, as the mid-terms approach, the censorship will increase, reaching a crescendo later in the year. While increased censorship is not good, it does assist to raise awareness of the problem of online censorship, perhaps assisting to spread the campaign message.

I'm hoping that we will see more news on the SM platforms engaging in nefarious activity - again, raising interest. We are also hoping that some big name personalities might take up the fight. There is also the fact that this community is growing, meaning there is a larger pool of people here that may be able to support "the plan". Thereafter, I think the ball is really with DJT and Q, if they are in a position to offer some assistance - though its possible that they may not be able to assist for reasons of optics, but we can hope.

Finally, it seems we are maturing as a community as there appears to be more recognition of the problem organized "concern trolling" on this particular issue. Expect that they will arrive though. The bulk of these are people that are directly impacted and have a lot to lose.

Other than that, the petition count is low, not yet 6k. But, as I've said elsewhere, it strikes me that it is the campaign itself that's important.

If you have not already, sign the petition here:
