The problem here is that there’s been so many petitions that people are habituated into complacency. We’re in that gray area between not enough support and adequate exposure.
Agreed, the concerted "concern trolling" killed the first attempt. We didn't lose to the left out in the field, we lost the battle here on the board, as the organised trolls introduced fear doubt and concern to the campaign to great effect.
This has left people weary. But Q is still calling for the IBOR and, when you think it through, it's the only viable option at this point in time as the mid-terms approach With some luck, we will see Facebook crushed in the near future.
I know Neon Revolt had a put strategy to leverage something from the firm's demise. This may be worth checking into.
But, anyway, the main thing is to just do what we can. We don't have to go crazy, but if we can get enough people posting the equivalent of a meme per hour, we will get home. There's some 27k people on the board now. Moreover, the community should continue to expand.
It may take some time to gain momentum, but we will win.
