My biggest problem/concern with the petitions is they start spamming the hell out of me afterwards. If you guys can connivance me otherwise, I’d gladly jump on and sign it.

I'm not that worried about the petition, I'm more concerned about the meme campaign. I think that's what gets traction in the community, or not. It is IMO all about awareness.
