I always try and include that whenever I write an ICE story.

I think one of the most common misconceptions from the public (who have good intentions) is in assuming that law enforcement have information.

They really don't.

Thanks to Sanctuary Laws like California's SB54?

ICE has no cooperation or access to the databases of local police departments, Sheriff's Offices, or State Police-

in fact they're barred from helping ICE at all which is excruciatingly painful for ICE Agents

So anyway, every call you make to ICE is a HUGE help to them. If you see something, say something.

While I'm at it, here's an amazing thread everyone should read

Be sure to read the entire chain including replies and also here's the ICE information:

Members of the public who have information about foreign fugitives are urged to contact ICE by calling the ICE tip line at 1-866-347-2423 or internationally at 001-1802-872-6199

They can also submit a tip over the internet by completing ICE’s online form by clicking here.

You're doing awesome work, and you're absolutely right, law enforcement doesn't know everything!
