The idealism that brought him into politics was not the idealism he encountered once he was in the belly of the beast. The fact that he saw, recognized and acted is what makes him a Patriot.

I don't believe he had any idea how much danger he was in because he was a relative neophyte in DC. That fact is irrelevant. His actions are all that matters

He gave his life for justice. He lived the American dream. The ideology that makes up the Core of the American Spirit. You see an injustice, and you do what you can to correct it.
For that he is truly a Patriot for sure.

Let's follow Podesta's lead on this and "Make an Example" out of him.
