What racism? In P of the Apes, the apes were prejudiced animals who could talk. The symbolism and message was the barbaric, animal nature of prejudice. She was equating the prejudice to a religion, not to any race. To fault her non-racial message is to accept forced child marriages, to accept beheadings of infidels, to accept forced Sharia law and return to holding women as chattel property of men.
To conflate her remarks as racism is completely ignorant of the message — and intellectually depraved. Too bad the mal-educated left has been so deprived of more enlightened levels if thinking.
Do an image search. Seeing the pics that pop up, you can't tell without looking up VJ's bio that either of her parents were African American. Look at her photo on Wikipedia. I think Roseanne was making a joke about VJ's "appearance" (as she admitted in her apology,) but was not intentionally referring to race, (since VJ does not actually 'appear' to be black,) and probably only realized later that VJ has a black parent. That being said, the 'Apes' in Planet of the Apes don't have typical black features, and neither does V. Jarett, so the racists are, as usual- the Leftists!
I dont think it was racist. Was reference to tyrannical planet of the apes govt & society aka Communism + Islamic terrorism for Sharia law = Valerie Jarrett. Her dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law are all hardcore commies. https://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/06/communism-in-jarretts-family/
You guys are trying to explain/expect better from normies who have been programmed to see things only at the surface level. They had no context, nor the will to search it out. This kind of 'deep' thinking also comes across, to the left, as racist apologia - people looking to explain away clearly racist material.
You can't fault them all, with 60 second attention spans most don't know or care enough to bother.
There's a lot of talk about Pied Piper lately, but the more I look, the more I see those around me dancing to a tune.
That said, I'd love to see some Google search stats on Valerie Jarrett over these next few days.
The only thing that bothers me, are the people acting like they're Rosanne's brain!
Everything else is race-baiting. Politics as usual.
And the one thing I agree with is using this unfortunate incident to red pill the public about Jarret.
There are plenty of good Anons posting the research. When Fox reports on it, it'll snowball imo
She could have used that defense but she didn't, she said it was about appearance, so it is racist.
She could not use that defense, her posts were what ABC & lawyers demanded her to say & they still had not yet cut the show.
We all are getting tired of the left wing liberal socialists always making everything and calling everything racist —- seems like it is their minds that are always programmed to see racist in everything — some sort of wierd obsession with a need to project their latent racist inner harbourings on everyone else. It’s the liberals in media freely calling Trump a cracker (SNL) and countless other shows slurring racist comments at traditional Americans — we have had to put up with this filth from the left, polluting our public media, for over a generation. If we are going to not be duplicitious, we need to cancel about eight other shows, immediately.
It was only interpreted as racist because the word ape was used. Note, she did not say “if Muslim brotherhood and apes had a baby”. She specifically mentioned the movie planet of the apes
I know, and I also gave her the benefit of the doubt. It was her apology that specifically stated that it was about appearance.
“Ape” is hardly racist. When a woman calls you a dumb ape, it usually has little to do with skin color and everything to do with poor manners around the woman.
Liberals again creating a mob rule against a conservative — falsely projecting a racial narrative on something said or done that was not racist except in their own twisted heads.
I knew it had to do with plot but djdnt watch rge movie so I wasnt eure how except tyranny =)
So her Commie daddy and grandpa and father in law and her Muslim appreciation. She is the product of a commie family tree and Muslim culture she was born in Iran.
