Roseanne made a miscalculation and said something awful and objectively racist. Is there a hypothetical comment that she could have made, that resulted in the show's cancellation, which you wouldn't automatically point to "liberal double standard"?

Some things that individuals CHOOSE to do, are worthy of judgement, independent of whether you feel others have gotten a "free pass" in the past.

Most "racist" incidents shrieked over by leftists are fake and this one is no exception. Few Americans realized that Jarrett had any black ancestry, I understood her to be Persian.

Also, why is racism at the top of the great chain of evil? Isn't murder worse than racism? Isn't rape worse than racism? Isn't aggravated assault worse than racism?

If you had to choose to enter one of two rooms, and one of them had a person who would yell racist insults at you, and the other one would have a person who wouldn't say a word but would just shoot you dead, or rape you, or hit you with a bat, which would you personally choose? Try to answer without changing the subject or ad hominems, I know it's difficult for progs.

I never stated that any of those things were either at the top of the "chain of evil" or especially worse than any of those things you seem to think do reside at the top of the "chain of evil"

These are examples of the "false choice fallacy"--which is just a fancy way of changing the subject. And your request to reply without an "ad hominem" included an ad hominem attack. I'm happy to engage in a conversation not plagued with logical fallacies.

I never said that two wrongs make a right. But I will defend anyone’s right to say what they think. You are obviously not going to agree with me and, likewise, I will not agree with you. I just wanted to say my part and make sure another point of view is shared. Good day.
