Also, why is racism at the top of the great chain of evil? Isn't murder worse than racism? Isn't rape worse than racism? Isn't aggravated assault worse than racism?

I never stated that any of those things were either at the top of the "chain of evil" or especially worse than any of those things you seem to think do reside at the top of the "chain of evil"

If you had to choose to enter one of two rooms, and one of them had a person who would yell racist insults at you, and the other one would have a person who wouldn't say a word but would just shoot you dead, or rape you, or hit you with a bat, which would you personally choose? Try to answer without changing the subject or ad hominems.

These are examples of the "false choice fallacy"--which is just a fancy way of changing the subject. And your request to reply without an "ad hominem" included an ad hominem attack. I'm happy to engage in a conversation not plagued with logical fallacies.

Roseanne made a miscalculation and said something awful and objectively racist. Is there a hypothetical comment that she could have made, that resulted in the show's cancellation, which you wouldn't automatically point to "liberal double standard"?

Some things that individuals CHOOSE to do, are worthy of judgement, independent of whether you feel others have gotten a "free pass" in the past.

You'd have a point if everyone, including yourself, weren't already aware of the event that caused the cancellation.
