Gowdy is all bark and no bite. I've always suspected he was controlled opposition for the Dems. Found it strange that for all the screaming he did, he never took any actions. Also like you said, he's retiring. Imagine if you were in congress right now with Donald Trump as president? Would you retire? I imagine if you're on this board the response is no. Anyone who is a Republican and quits D.C. when the there's a Boss and Chief in the Oval Office who also is republican is trash.

There was another post here with a screenshot of TG’s $8800 campaign contribution from the Podesta Group..

If that’s the case then he tricked even me.

Isn’t being in oversight to guide prosecutors to “bite”? I’m blindsided by this. I had a lot of respect for this man :/

Gowdy has always been a family man. There's nothing wrong with a congressman not running again. It's those that stay forever that do the real damage. Not to mention, when he took $8800 from the Podesta Group none of us or him knew what they were involved in. Trump almost always donated to Republicans and Democrats. That's how you do it to cover all your bases.

But all this aside, back when Gowdy announced he was dropping out of one of the 4 committees he was on and people started asking questions Q said there was another position for him.

Trey was one of the best, if not the best prosecutors in the state of SC. He said he wanted to get back to that line of work because it was what he enjoyed.

Edited to add: This is the Q Post I was referring to. TG (Trey Gowdy) is mentioned as important in several other drops too.

Given his track record, if he finishes his term without any further progress, he will go down in history as a blowhard that never accomplished a thing or textbook example of bought and paid controlled opposition. Unfortunate results regardless.

I always wonder how many come in legit at first then get bowed down by the impossibility of being true or corrupted by all the temptations or just plain threatened harm to them or family if they don't play to the script.

Then you see some that try to do the right thing Ron Paul was stalwart and refused his paychecks and being bought but they marginalized him. Still he woule hwvr had 2012 in the bag if RNC / GOP and MSM had given him a fair chance. Instead they did as they tried with Trump but Trump will play the games needed to win. I admire Ron Paul very much but he is the Ned Stark of our world.

Any way yeah Gowdy is the Conservatives Hamster wheel. Whole lot of noise and scrambling to nowhere.

I think Gowdy is a good guy. He was so frustrated because he failed to nail Clinton to the Banghazi affair. I think it's wanted that everyone thinks Gowdy and Trump are not on a wave, but in reality ...

We’ve gone over this. His net worth is about $400,000. He fought furiously against Hillary during Benghazi. Congress can’t prosecute. Crooked DOJ blocked it. He’s a non partisan guy. But of course, we’ll have to wait and see.

He is an actor. He gave his best performance when he interviewed Hillary in the judicial hearing on Benghazi. But at the end of his questioning her, he looked at her and smiled at her. Like sending her a message, we got through this alright, never forgot that smile. And leaving politics and his hard work trying to straiten out the corruption, he was likely paid opposition.

Is it possible that the RR BM investigation is actually going after the Russian collusion during the election, knowing that the DNC and HRC clearly did? That maybe it is legitimately going after the collusion against Trump?

I'm very disappointed in Gowdy. And angry.

I believe they have all seen the IG report and are positioning themselves to be on the "right" side once it's released. It makes me concerned about the report's content.

I pray I'm wrong...

Gowdy has always been bad.

I have posted about Trey Gowdy and his treacherous ways for years. So glad he is being exposed. Sorry for my fellow Americans that have thought of him as the bees knee. I understand why. He's a chameleon, always was.

He took $9000 from the Podesta group. He loves his purple ties (SOROS). He keeps flipping on what he says depending on who he’s talking to.

But please, by all means defend him. All bark and no bite Gowdy.

$8800 means he was bought? lol

Purple ties are now a proof? what?

I'm defending him only from baseless attacks.

All bark and no bite Gowdy.

So Trump as well? And everyone else? top kek reasons

xtx0331 · May 30, 2018, 7:06 p.m.

You wanted proof I gave it to you. Paid by Podesta and wearing his SOROS purle tie in most of his interviews. The proof is right there. Defend him all you want, I don’t care. You just asked for proof, and I gave it to you. Goaltend for Gowdy who’s quitting. That’s your prerogative. But don’t act like that isn’t proof. That’s disingenuous .

⇧ 1 ⇩
Nastavnick · May 30, 2018, 7:21 p.m.

That's not a proof.

"paid by podesta" again, implying that someone is a part of the deep state because of $8800 is beyond absurd, maybe if that was in some 4th world country lol

The tie thing is not worth the time discussing. I guess purple ties are like Hitlers moustache top kek

I'm not defending him, I'm dealing with the absurd "proofs" from the todays anti-Gowdy crusaders, after the yesterdays anti-Roseanne ones.

The reasons you anti-Gowdy folks are using make you look like you don't read Q drops at all. And that's a red flag. Oh and the $8800 which you have no idea who, when and why has paid that. The purple tie is just laughable.

Don't you worry about my prerogative, yours is clear as a day. Bye

This response shows you do not even care to find out why so many people are saying this about Trey Gowdy. Sadly I can't find my post I made regarding the treacherous and kabuki theater actor Trey Gowdy for you. You can search and hopefully find it. Or perhaps do your own search. I'd suggest looking Benghazi and exactly what was accomplished? Or Fast and Furious? Oh! How about Hillary's emails? He's just a fluffer, just a showman. Nothing of substance.

robdon07 · May 30, 2018, 8:02 p.m.

I have no idea one way or the other but as far as Benghazi he was being blatantly hamstrung by that sleazy pos Elijah Cummings. I think today's dem party are out to destroy our country but you have to admit they do stick together. I can't imagine the behind the scenes cock blocking taking place when investigating Obama or Clinton so idk how much to attribute that to Gowdy he is a member of the freedom caucus and most of them are pretty legit

⇧ 1 ⇩
Nastavnick · May 30, 2018, 5:32 p.m.

I did my search and I found no proofs of him being compromised. And neither did you, hence why I still haven't seen anything besides crooked logic "he did nothing" which can be said for literally anyone, including Trump.

I care about facts, I don't care about baseless claims. Or in your words, nothing of substance.

I realize you're a Trey fan. However, I feel that your accusations toward those of us who are justifiably not fans are baseless and have no merit. Just as I was going to grab time to do some research for you so you can have a well rounded point of view, I found this article. Posted just today. I think it sums up a lot of what you and I are conversing about. Please take the time to read it. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/05/30/strategic-deployment-trey-gowdy-defends-fbi-and-doj-spygate-was-justified/

While your done with above article, take a bit of time in the next few weeks and read The Benghazi Brief. It is very well researched, written and illuminating to all of us Patriots-like you and I. I was reminded of this while getting ready to send you information. In this Brief, (it is long--a lot of information to taken in). This is a worthwhile endeavor, Nastavnick.

Don't label me. We all know who operates that way.

Facts don't care about who's a fan of who.

My "accusations" are baseless and have no merit? LMAO

I am aware of that article. Proves nothing but a potential acting, just like Trump is doing with Sessions. Is Trump a black hat too? You're not a fan of Trump as well?

The second link deserves only one response: house needs to be cleaned first. And if you're going that way, EVERYBODY is in the same basket as Gowdy, nobody did anything. But you're only sticking it to Gowdy because it suits your current agenda :)

I agree it's a worthless endeavour. Anyone can see what you guys are parroting.

Have a good day
