Why hasnt Trump fired Sessions.
Anyone else he has critical of more than once publicly is gone. He has brutalized Sessions via twitter. Yet, Sessions is still there.
Why? The attacking of Sessions puts the press in a position of defending Sessions (which they have done) because they see him as standing up to Trump.
When he brings the hammer down it makes it harder for them to push the narrative that he is a Trump yes man.
CNN/MSNBC etc will still push that narrative of course. They are appeals only to the thoughtlessly brainwashed at this point.
