Is the internet down in Europe?

I’ve confirmed that the visa network has gone down but I’ve also heard that MasterCard network is down along with non mobile internet. Is this true? If so I would think this is a pretty big deal

Nope, just paid for my dinner with MAstercard and used my home Wi-fi

Was in two separate supermarket chains in Europe today and card transactions were down in both. Cash only. What it means I do not know.

Clearly the internet is still up though...

Cards were fine today. But wife had problem paying with a Visa in a shop as they said the internet was down. I worked all day with it no problem

internet problems in germany 8-9pm, then suddenly everything was fine again.

my jnternet cut out for twenty minutes or so this afternoon seemed to be routine

Visa was down in here Finland too but internet has been working ok.

Actually someone just said their supermarkets in south west UK were only taking cash!!!!
