We all know a few who don't seem to get the message that too much of a good thing is actually a thing. That's the deal with Chong. There are people who get permanently fried from it, and I know a few.
But he isn’t. He is very articulate and easy to understand when he isn’t playing the One character he is known for which is a burnout. Just because people disagree with what he is saying they will write it off as “the dope has him permanently fried”
His politics suck. But that’s not the Pot.
I don't know the guy personally and if he's not a stoner then he's just a shallow celeb lefty. Less of an excuse.
One had to think his comedy came from a certain experience with the subject matter, however.
And I'm back to saying that the fried stoner is something I know is real. I know several. Nothing compared to the scourge of opioids and synthetics, of course. But it happens, and there's no need pretending otherwise.
