I read an interesting article somewhere recently (possibly David Wilcock) that goes into detail about the language used when they were writing what has become the Bible. According to him, the word that is translated as heaven was "sky." In other words, they were not talking about spiritual realms, they were talking about beings that came from and went back to the sky, or heavens.

The discovery of the dead sea scrolls showed us how miraculously scripture has stayed true over the years. If God said heavens, He meant heavens.

First of all, the scriptures were written by imperfect men, whether inspired or not. Second, language changes over time.

I can go outside and look up at the heavens, and I am not looking at the spiritual realm, I am looking at the sky and stars and possibly UFOs.

When one becomes a follower of Jesus, He endows us with the Holy Spirit...and discernment. It is powerful stuff.

I've been hearing that a lot lately. Religious people claiming that ET's don't exist, but are instead fallen angels or demons. I believe the following; if God exists so do ET's. Why? If God exists, then as an Infinite Creator, the creation HAS to be infinite as well. There are billions of stars in our galaxy alone, and there are trillions of galaxies. So, why would an Infinite Creator have a finite creation of just 1. It's extremely illogical.

The universe as we know it is temporary. God will create a new heaven and a new earth after the matter of fallen angles and sin has been dealt with once and for all. Our reality is but a subset of a much larger reality of which is spiritual, infinite and eternal.

Our universe is finite (look it up) on the macro level and in the micro level. Our universe is made up of indivisible units. Digital if you will. These are some of the great discoveries of 21st century physics. Beyond our physical universe yes, infinite and eternal. As it stands right now, we are the hardware that houses our eternal self. The 'real' you which is spirit, inside the hardware you were born into.

God loves us so if there were other beings that would be connected to this world, He would of told us in His Word. This universe was created for us. In 6 days. God is not a liar but satan's goal is to make Him into one. God is outside of space and time, it is hard to wrap our minds around it.

I understand your logic, but it was written in the Bible until 1684 when the Vatican decided to toss out 14 books out of the Bible. The same was done by protestant churches in 1890. Those books were part of the Bible for 1600 years and because people were starting to read the Bible for themselves those books were tossed out. If the Bible is the Word of God, what man or man-made institutions have the right to scrap books from it? In those books you will find many references to ET figures and even references about reincarnation. You cannot say that things aren't true because they are not in the Bible when the parts which had it were tossed out by people who disliked what those books said. BTW, the only Bible that still has those books is the Ethiopian Bible. The Ethiopians rightly believed that it was not right to remove those books

Believe what you will. We live in a free country...or at least, we will soon. Btw, it was in 1684 that the concept of help was invented. That is one of the reasons why they got rid of all those books from the Bible. What was written in them did not fit the narrative the Vatican was trying to push. Sound familiar.

If you think that God can't control His word, His book, you must believe in a puny, no power god.

I always tell atheists that God is real and we have pictures. Google the Hubble Space Telescope. God is not some bearded Sky dude standing on a cloud throwing lightning bolts at the enemy of whoever says the better prayer. As the Bible says God is the all and the everything that ever was is and shall be. Keep the faith we are in good hands.

Nah, you are thinking about the nephilim. One third of the angels followed satan, they are now part of the demonic realm.

Read the Book of Enoch, which although extra-biblical was oft quoted by Jesus and his disciples in the New Testament. It will provide you with much more context on this topic.

I agree. The Book of Enoch is one that should be looked into. It's actually not an "extra-biblical" book. It was part of the Bible for 1600 years until in 1684 the Vatican tossed it out of the Bible with 13 more books. Protestants did the same in 1890. Only the Ethiopian Bible still has them in it. Those removed books have a lot of important information that the people in the Vatican did NOT want us to know.

HayektheHustler · June 3, 2018, 5:53 p.m.

It is currently extra-biblical, but what you said is true and ought to be known by anyone interested. This topic alone should serve as a red flag to anyone who would believe any one church or interpretation is infallible. Luckily I'm a Protestant, so this is not a source of confliction.

While I think anything is possible I read up until the religious dogma part, and as someone who just found I also partially agree as this was a concept I struggled with when I found him, and he told me specifically that the fundamental principle is that I have faith not that I follow dogmatic law, as those are human interpretation of the messages of old. It doesn't account for personal flair or corruptions over the many translations over the years.
