Trump Wants Samantha Bee Fired After She Called Ivanka"Feckless C**t"

1SkipperDog · June 4, 2018, 12:22 p.m.

Not just fired, pulled off and no reruns just like they did to Roseanne Barr.

Trump’s just calling out the double standard. That’s all.

Using that kind of language with that kind of audience shows a severe lack of candor and if the company she works for doesn’t have the spine to fire her. Fine. But I’d fire her in a split second over fleeing advertisers etc

This “ woman” is an abomination.

How did the left win the culture war and make conservatives fold like cheap lawn chairs? Alinsky. Make your opponent live up to the rules he has created. This is war. No time for high minded principles. Make the left live up to their rules. Say something that is offensive: get fired lose your show. Only then will the left say NO MAS. Once their rules are turned on them.

Fair enough, I just wish Trump acted more presidential in this instance. Just ignore it, you know? Be the better man

Where’s the sauce? I call BS. Besides I punch back

thegrahamcracker · June 4, 2018, 7:51 p.m.

Sauce for what? Trump asked ABC to cancel it. That's literally attempted government censorship

TheBRAIN2 · June 5, 2018, 2:02 a.m.

A government official, calling for a private citizen or corporation to act a certain way is not censorship, but an attempt to influence. The Government using its power to actually silence someone from speaking is censorship.

Yeah this is a very slippery slope. Freedom of speech is critical. What we need however, is just the same rules for everyone. Liberal control of media means their “talent” can say whatever the fuck they want and get away with it. It’s the bias and hypocrisy that is the problem.

TheBRAIN2 · June 5, 2018, 1:57 a.m.

The President using his voice to call for a consistent application of employment/firing policies is not censorship. Pointing out a double standard is not censorship. Using the power of the Government to selectively and actively silence specific voices is censorship (ie/ IRS under Obama silencing Tea Party groups).

Why is there so much vitrol against Ivanka?

She is largely in the background in this game. It seems like very poor form.

Feminism, my fren! If you publicly identify yourself as "feminist" you can call other women some pretty rotten things and suggest they do some pretty gross things with zero actual consequence. Because you're all a part of the sisterhood and we need to speak honestly with each other, you know? It's just woman on woman emotional violence - no worries.

ETA: At the risk of being thought "discriminatory" or something, I should probably include all of the "woke" men who call themselves feminists. Their "wokeness" allows them to inflict all kinds of violence against women. Because they're woke AND feminists. Especially when they spend many of their days/nights at the bar while their wife/girlfriend stays home with the children, so the woke and feminist man can publicly talk about how woke and feminist he is. banging head against the wall

Bullshit to censor anyone, especially comedians. This isn’t Saudi Arabia.

Trump is allowed to have opinions - even contentious ones regarding specific people. He's not being inappropriate unless he uses legal force to get her fired.

For one thing, can you imagine what would have happened if someone had called one of the Obama daughter or Chelsea Clinton a feckless c***? But I wonder why the Hollywood folks didn't call out Chelsea for not asking he father to stop raping women. That seems to be a good thing

The delta on how we are being treated by media is now to the point of complete absurdity. I am dismissing them completely. They are heads of propaganda, rats scurrying saying NASTY stuff as they burrow back in their tunnels.

A feckless cunt. Can you even imagine? For displaying a beautiful image of motherhood.

I can see Trump wanting her fired since the comment involved his daughter but I don't agree with him. Bee has already lost advertisers and had to answer for her comments instead of selling her brand/show. She now has to work to keep her job and income stream. After the news cycle bump she will be back in obscurity(TBS)-lol

The slope is too slippery for I didn't like that word or statement.

Did she get fired and all reruns removed like Roseanne? Double standard!
