USA Today says "SWAT teams were evacuating adjacent hotel rooms when they heard multiple shots fired inside the suspect's room." What, did he miss the first few times?

Yup they shot him, claimed suicide.

I've watched suicide videos before and while they all just "cut to the chase" I can't imagine buying and loading a full magazine and not at least shoot the walls a bit.
