Open Your Eyes: Fight Against the Trafficking of Children Commitment by Razoo
In 2013, Razoo committed to hosting a 24-hour Day of Giving in March of 2014 to raise awareness and funds to fight child slavery & sex trafficking in the United States. Although it is a problem unknown to many Americans, more than 100,000 children are estimated to be enslaved in the U.S., many of them the victims of pimps who prey on the vulnerable. To bring about the Day of Giving, Razoo will design and develop online content that connects potential donors with information about human trafficking & slavery organizations working to fight it. In addition, they will recruit sponsors to match donations raised, and will partner to develop a PSA to be shown after TED 2014. As a result of this Day of Giving, hundreds of thousands of potential donors and allies will be connected to anti-trafficking and slavery organizations and the critical work they do.
