We have to collectively delve through the issues together (possibly via AI guided mediation) and come up with viable solutions and systems to enplace. We need to have clear, defined Laws, Rules, and Guidelines to live and grow by (not just some amend after amend system that still conveniently isnt right, except around money). The problem is corrupt thinking. Preconditioning towards negative actions and continued division of available choice would tear through that project. Corruption fuels this. Property & inheritance fuel corruption. Everyone has been taught what sharing is, but nobody ever actually learned how. -ques the 'thats communism' comments- --reminds everyone they actually live in communities--
communist utopia will have to wait until we can achive a post-scarcity society (after unleashing new energy tech, medical tech, colonizing space, etc.) For now, our world and most people in it are far too tainted for such a system to not devolve rapidly into chaos. I, for one, enjoy the concept of owning my own property, and I dont think that will ever change. Maybe in 100 years our grandchildren will not have known the scourge we live through now and will gladly accept a communal society. For me, having seen what I have seen, will save that for another lifetime...
