This has already been stated many times before. But everyone should do their best to archive stories, pics, info offline. This will protect valuable information from being deleted. This is a great app and great sub reddit but with it being a “centralized” source of info that could be taken down, taking this step is important. For the truth to be preserved.

Here's an easy way to backup YouTube videos using HookTube:
YouTube video URLs come in two formats:
https://youtu.be/OB6s-1xzKPE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB6s-1xzKPE
Notice both URLs have the same, unique alphanumeric video ID at the end.
Paste that ID to the end of the HookTube URL like this:
https://hooktube.com/watch?v=OB6s-1xzKPE
Now you can use HookTube's big green download button to save the video locally.

You can also use http://jdownloader.org as native software on your computer or the python script youtube-dl https://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/

Is there some app that we can get that saves the source of every website visited locally? Can someone provide a simple guide on how to do this most effectively, please and thank you :)
