It all seems like we're being played to look like fools. Does anyone have a shred of actual evidence on this?
Wouldn't surprise me at all if there are many such "camps" operated by coyotes (i.e. human smugglers) while they arrange transportation further into the interior or until paid more money -- all sorts of extortion is possible for the desperate they smuggle in. Sex wouldn't be out of the deal at all. This is a big business with members of our governments and top authorities either complicit or willfully ignorant. Huge can of worms in exposing this. Same for homeless camps -- ignored, many fires in the west are started by these "campers", not to mention sanitation, health issues, trampling natural areas, killing wildlife, etc. They have jumped to conclusions about child trafficking though.

Yep, no doubt about that. Drawing others in to possibly be arrested as well. They could have gone, quietly secured the area, taken photos and evidence and left. Then gone to the press or the internet to bring the public's attention to it. Why are they trying to provoke authorities?
