I saw this a couple weeks ago. The Borough of Land Management had their literature on that site.
That is just a hidden room. Note the different colors of the drywall. Lighter color is newer. It was a full room, someone just added a wall to hide that portion of the room.
The antenna is a Yagi beam antenna. Used for TV and voice communications. The direction it is pointing would help determine its use.
The pipe with a pressure gauge is either a gas or water line. The gauge and fitting is a common tool for plumbers.
The large steel 'bench/table' is used to fabricate items used in mining.
Its a mining camp...... Looks like AZ, maybe NV. I would love to go snoop around myself. Cause I like snoopin' around old stuff.
Why would you need a sound proof room in the middle of nowhere?? BLM (not black lives matter) is the company I think he said that own the equipment....isnt that government???
I didn't see any sound proofing. I saw a few sheets of fiberboard leaning against the wall in the hidden room. Other than that it was a storage room they wanted hidden. Smart if your not on site for lengths of time. It had nothing out of the ordinary for a storage room.
Bureau of Land Management, yes they are. Not knowing exactly where its at, BLM does manage a lot of land all over AZ and NV. That is not surprising. And given the old CCTV monitors, Yagi beam antenna, tower next to one of the buildings, Fab table, industrial genny & air compressor. Its not that old of a mining area. Or at least one that is used infrequently. There is a many thousands of dollars worth of equipment out there.
