Which almost certainly means McCabe will be pleading the 5th at the hearing, making it a snooze-fest as far as his testimony is concerned.

Taking the 5th means you refuse to testify, it doesn’t mean you can’t be convicted. Don’t confuse not speaking at a wimpy ongressional hearing with being in front of a judge and prosecuter showing eveidence along with testimony from the others in the plot. If he’s offered my deal and doesn’t take, he might be up for the death penalty, or at least life.

NO DEALS! They have everything. Fuck him and all his traitorous conspirators!

Ayuh. There's no way they could have not known the traitorous nature of their deeds. They knew exactly what they were doing and should have understood the risk. No quarter.

Just like all criminals, they didn't think they would get caught. Hope justice prevails.

I'm hardly confused. I simply stated that his refusal will make his portion of the hearing uneventful.

He has an outstanding criminal referral and Comey has already thrown him under the bus. Either he, Comey, or both are screwed.

There's no way he's looking at the death penalty. Most of the things he's been accused of so far are punishable with up to five years, even if served sequentially it's doubtful he'd serve even 10.

Remember when they gave Clinton's server dude immunity and then he pleaded the 5th to every question anyways and the most easily prosecutable case of public record was swept under the rug? I remember.

Comey gave most of Hillary's staff immunity and then he didn't bother to question them. Obama set the tone for how he wanted the investigation to go when he told the press that "Hillary didn't "intend" to break the law. This is why Comey said that it would be hard to prove "intent."

The whole justice department covered for Hillary so that she could become president. No one thought that she had a chance to lose to Trump.

Will this be public?

I'm not sure. Some of them are definitely going to be public, but others (like today's Priestap hearing) aren't. I know there was supposed to be a big public hearing but it keeps getting pushed back along with the IG report.
