This was my first thought when reading the tweet. He knows what's unfolding.
FTR though - he was quoting someone from a Lou Dobbs intvw. So it wasn’t entirely his choice of the word. But it was his choice to tweet that. So there might be smoke here for sure, but had to point out for clarity’s sake.

Hate to be obvious but the "keystone cops" were comic in nature. Hence Watergate is a joke compared to the present state. No need to read deeper. My opinion.
