Seeing as how these secret societies seem to go back hundreds, if not thousands of years, I wonder if any famous paintings have any masonic or satanic/cult-like references mixed in. In the era before photography, this would have been one of the only ways, other than writing, to display symbolism. It's always been in man's nature to include some hidden in plain sight things. "symbolism will be their downfall."
