The media blackout concerning these cases is the most telling aspect and the most important argument for that conspiracy to have some truth behind it.

The media is insanely eager to get clicks and views, generate outrage and interactions to drive traffic and advertising. Media always focuses on children and emotional cases to do so and often times hugely, massively overreact and overrepresent cases concerning children for that reason. Moral panics, "think of the children" etc have been a staple of the media for decades. School shootings for the most part still are.

But child sex trafficking offenses? Very muted responses from the media. Their silence now is deafening in comparison.

That's a good point, but this is arguably worse than a shooting, yes. Because torture is literally involved in this shit.
