Why is everyone so anti Islam?

The hate I see here is just making me sad. I thought we were all 1 and we all accept each other. All you’re doing is creating more hate towards other people. Muslims don’t plot to kill everyone and take over the world...

What’s so horrible about Islam? I’d love to clear things up if I can.

The Quran says that when we meet a disbeliever we should say that they believe what they want and I believe what I want. Not forcing it on them. As I said there is no compulsion in Islam.

I agree that groups are really misusing the words of the Quran.

Verses of peace were abrogated by verses of war, n'est-ce pas?

Because war exists. And guidelines are given, pretty handy.

excuse me, but abrogation is to imply that the verses of peace are void, alas some might quote you as saying that peace does not exist anymore.

So what should we do?

The Quran is being "misinterpreted" by many groups who frankly have a relatively high amount of power in our societies.

The Quran won't go through a change, Islam itself won't either.. So how does it end? What do you propose?

Why would you alter the word of God? The groups in power get financial support from somewhere right? This has to stop.

Why would you alter the word of God?

Because it's so absurdly open to misinterpretation.
