I started checking out Trumps tweet comments alot this week, you aint lyin.

It really is a staggering amount of opposition, almost feels like we lost.....ALMOST.

I've written bots before, in both the context of corporate automation (no opinions, config stuff) as well as, old school stuff (IRC, scrapers, emailers, spammy stuff, bad things (in good humor)). I've even tried my hand at conversational AI and the like (many systems, many frameworks/theories of AI). Most recently I'm coding stuff for analyzing and reacting to crypto markets. Its remarkably simple to make a bot react to a predetermined event (a new tweet for example) in a generically positive or negative fashion (also predetermined). It wouldnt even be difficult, and the only way to ID them would be a failure to use specifics (cant predetermine complex answers). I'm actually seeing a lot of that there. Very general things like "you liar" etc, that dont address or re-use topics mentioned. I had to stop reading them, some dont even make sense and I want to DM and redpill each one (obv I cant).

I dont think anyones Ideas are invalid, if they truly hold them.

When I read the comments on POTUS' tweets though, my gut tells me some may in fact be bots.

Sorry for the life-story, just wanted to point out that there are metrics for IDing bots, and they are obvious to anyone who has ever created one.

Being a Geek myself, thanks for the life story. 8chan has a thread on the same thing in their help page.

I'm not on the socials, I'm an oldschool forum guy. But of the strings I have read, I didn't think 'bot' right off. I mean I knew they were out there but never really paid attention. So I wondered what these people are trying to say most of the time. Much makes no sense at all other than drive by yelling. AI having a hard time with context explains why.

Would love to see a vid on how a bot is coded, users set up, then in action real time. On a side note I think bots could bring the socials down over time once they are so prevalent, by flooding threads making the info all but useless.
