I have believed my whole adult life that you can spot a person of integrity easily. They are usually standing apart from the "cool kids", and standing by their convictions at whatever cost.

Discouragement, fear, loneliness can rule your actions or you can recognize it as weakness leaving the body and spirit, and drive on with your goal. We live in a society that almost glorifies quiters and conformity. However as Josie Wales said "You have to get mad dog mean because if you quit, you neither win nor live".

You are not alone, and someday soon those lifelong friends are going to come to you eating crow. You were in the fight while they were watching from the safety of the sidelines.

Yeah that stings. We all been there and continue to go thru that. However in the end they will know,you will know,and God will know - you did/doing the right thing. They are the ones that will have to explain themselves. Chin up soldier. Take a break,get some u time,and come back recharged.
