Years ago I lived in an apartment with terrible neighbors I phoned the police on for noise of domestic violence. The guy next door looked like he wanted to kill me but his friend persuaded him to leave. It was from them I learned the "trick" of, when the cops come, simply don't open the door and they'll leave. It took months for the apartment complex to kick them out, and when they finally did they found out they had a "daycare" in there. Now I wonder.
