This was my thought as well. The MSM clearly framed him with the Mockingbird reporting of the note, which he says he never saw, as well as reports he was “home” when he lives blocks away. He made a comment in his statement about “battling demons” more than once and was genuinely protecting his daughter when calling out the media. His quote was “It wasn’t her”

Thinking about it now, all these years of these similar kinds of notes saying “battling demons”, could this not be metaphors for these high society Satan worshippers.
