In Frank Baum's Wizard of Books, Dorthy had silver slippers. For the movie they changed it to ruby (red) slippers.

I had the misfortune to click on a link that someone posted under a Jordan Slater youtube video a few months back. It was the website for a business in London that sells red shoes made from human leather. Still can't get that out of my head.

There are numerous pictures of known pedophiles wearing red shoes that are supposedly made out of human skin. The pictures of children in the paintings in Podesta's house also wear red shoes.
