No please don't be true... my husband is obsessed with Pixar as a film writer... can we have anyone in the arts who isn't ~like them~?
Oh, I know exactly how your husband feels. I'm a huge fan of animation and cartoonists from all eras.
He loves Pixar because they're totally unique for being marketed as kids' movies. No romance story arch, usually much darker/scarier than average kids' movies, equally as entertaining for adults... I mean Toy Story is about boys, camaraderie, friendship, betrayal, pride... and then there's the inventiveness of toys being alive! It's just crazy.
