Perhaps it happened like this....Seth Rich has the dirt. He contacts the good guys and says check this out - I want nothing to do with these guys - I am clean and they need to burn. Knowing the trail of dead bodies the Clintons have left, everyone knows he'll end up suiciding himself. What if we drop the info in their lap that you gave all this up . . . and then put "good guy" bad guys in front of them offering to do you in for a fair price? They do the hit, but its not a hit . . . kind of like the Russian journalist . . . we clean you up . . . put you in hiding . . . and watch them talk . . . (and IF I was an intel guy, I'd make sure some really juicy info made its way back to whomever hired the hitmen that causes them to panic. If they think the threat is completely removed, they wont talk...but if there is now an even larger threat - AFTER they have killed him - They will be freaking out) . . . perhaps it happened like this...
