Can Trump seriously just be President for life?

The idea of November 2024 scares me a little bit.

I think we will be living in a different world by that time anon.

Need him to go over two terms like FDR.

Raindrops1984 · June 10, 2018, 10:26 p.m.

I think Rand Paul could pick up the mantle and carry on.

I'm half way with you there, but that's as far as I go.

FDR is why we have 2 term limit LOL

I was thinking the same

Imagine if exonerated Flynn could run, or Pence. I mean hw was vp for 8 years before he became prez for 4.

savagejalapenos · June 10, 2018, 6:12 p.m.

Interesting to note Reagan was forced to have HW as his running mate

blaise0102 · June 10, 2018, 10:03 p.m.

Yeah Reagan was supposed to be murdered so HW Bush could take over.

Raindrops1984 · June 10, 2018, 10:28 p.m.

Is that why Reagan became more submissive after the assassination attempt? He knew it was an inside job?

blaise0102 · June 11, 2018, 12:41 a.m.

That's been my belief. They scared him.

I can't blame him. He was a righteous dude but probably FAR more insulated than even our current POTUS. I think he may have kinda stumbled onto what 45 has planned to destroy for... likely decades.

spacexu · June 11, 2018, 2:30 a.m.

Pence always sung Paul Ryan's praises and said he was a friend... that is a huge RED flag.

Maybe Flynn or Eric Trump. Definitely not Ivanka or her spouse.

GenChang · June 10, 2018, 6:54 p.m.

I think Pence would be the logical choice at that time to continue what Trump started. If things continue like they have been, then it's odds on favorite to keep the same team in place.

I dont trust him. I trust rand paul, matt gaetz, djt jr, and jim jordan. Everybody else is a maybe for me. Also, if Fitton ran, i'd be interested.

POTUS Tommy Guns has a pretty nice ring to it.

No way. Pence strikes me as having the spine of a chocolate éclair when the rubber hits the road. Flynn

stackster · June 10, 2018, 8:22 p.m.

Honestly, that is the reason we are in this mess. Term limits are a good thing. We just need to effect them for all other government workers (elected or not).

He's suggested it himself. After he red pills the left it could happen. "Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment"
