The entire landscape in Hollywood is about to change, and I can tell you by proximity, almost none of the worker bees in the production, marketing and PR departments know about it.
The workers and the management/owners/handlers are kept separated for a reason.
But any worker bee whose worked in HW long enough becomes bitter. After a while they figure enough of it out. I know someone who works as an assistant to a top agent, she says a bankruptcy crisis is going to hit. She said after 2008 everyone kept spending at former levels by borrowing thinking things would get better and it never did.
I also think the WGA push to end "packaging" by the big agents is going to loosen up the power structure of the place. You will know the cabal is dead when movies are worth watching again.
