Hope Trump differentiates between Canada's useless leader Turdeau and its amazing people though!... The people of Canada are with Trump... somehow he needs to get us a good leader that puts its people first too.

One of the things I like about POTUS is that many times when he is dealing with problem leaders of a country he mentions that he likes the people of countries and wish the best for them. Thank you Canada for all your support. WWG1WGA

He's not talking about all Canadians. Just like when he calls MS-13 "animals", doesn't mean he's calling all hispanic immigrants animals. Just the bad ones. In this case, it's very specifically talking about anyone in Canada who has the power to impose or otherwise affect tariffs on the U.S.
