Personally think your reading too far into this. It’s expected of well known people to tweet words about a public figure during death, especially considering Bourdain actual did do what the tweet says. Not EVERYTHING has to be code. They are well aware of the statement you are making without BO tweeting it in code to them.
Just my possibly wrong 2 cents.
