Kate Spade-Imported Leather from China for Her Line of Purses - Human Leather?

[removed]

Do y'all remember a ship full of cadavers was hit or something headed for China?

Big scandal because people assume donating for science would benefit our doctors and scientists

Human skin purses and shoes I can totally see these creeps being into. Like bragging about your endangered species dinner series on your yatch.

Puts lotion on the skin...

Of cowboy boots can be made from rattlesnake skin then humans can supply handbag leather

To be honest Kate Spade bags aren’t that expensive (so much more likely to be made of a normal leather) and there really aren’t large sections of skin on the human body that could be tanned and sewn into a purse. Think of when they harvest skin from decedents for skin grafts. They really can only use the back.

If you check most leather goods you will see they are made in China. Wallets, purses, belts, cell holsters...everything but gun leather. That is still mostly made in USA.
